ARE YOU UNINSURED?
To meet the health insurance needs of our community, Holy Cross Hospital is currently enrolling for Centennial Care and the Health Exchange. The Open Enrollment Period is open now, but ends on February 15, 2015.
Medicaid has changed and is now called Centennial Care in New Mexico. There are also new eligibility rules that took effect in 2013. Even if you were denied Medicaid in the past, you may be eligible under the new eligibility rules. There is no deadline to enroll in Medicaid. However, under the Affordable Care Act, every New Mexican is required to have health coverage, so it is important to determine if you qualify for Medicaid. Medicaid is credible coverage and does not require a monthly payment.

Welcome to Pregnancy Yoga with Jiwan Shakti!
The Pregnancy Yoga Course is based on the teachings of Yogi Bhajan as taught in the Conscious Pregnancy Teacher Training. The flow of Yoga exercises in each class, is called a Kriya: a specific set of exercises aimed for a specific effect or result. Each class will also include a meditation, and integrate breath work into both the kriya and the meditation.
As support to The Birth Center and Women’s Health Institute, the Pregnancy Yoga classes are offered to all pregnant women. It is a 20 week course that will then cycle again, so you can begin at any time. The course has two different classes. The first class is a rotation of exercises for variety of themes, and the second is the same kriya for just about six weeks.
You can attend as much or as little as you feel you can manage. You can drop in on either at any time.
